BBG Construction is an Indianapolis based residential/commercial remodeler and home builder. They started small but have grown tremendously over the past year and requested a new logo. The previous logo had a bull in it and was black and yellow/gold due to the client being a Purdue grad. The client wanted to keep the colors but was un decided if he wanted to keep the bull. MarcoSolo Design starts all logos in black and white so color does not influence which logo is chosen. Once a direction is chosen then color will be added in and the client will receive multiple color options. We presented the client with approximately 8 logo ideas in black and white. From there it was narrowed down to 4-5 ideas. We then added in color and presented those to the client. He quickly decided he he did not want the bull any more and really like the BBG in large, heavy type. We presented many more options of how the BBG would look, the first B facing to the left and with a different color, etc. The client was concerned that the first B facing left would be hard to read BBG so we scrapped that idea and returned all letters to face the right. The final logo uses black, grey and yellow in a heavy, solid feel. The client is very happy with the logo and has received many compliments on it.
